Quem Somos

A Sin Fronteras Filmes foi criada em 2012, pela dinâmica cineasta Chrys Rochat que viaja o mundo em busca de histórias, experiências e ideias inovadoras e que tenham um apelo internacional e uma estética independente e original. Como o nome já diz, a Sin Fronteras Filmes está focada em projetos que agradem ao público mundial, com argumentos instigantes e de interesse amplo com o objetivo de transpor barreiras e levar o melhor do cinema independente brasileiro para o mercado internacional, tocando e interessando o mundo pela diversidade cultural e ambiental.

Em 2014, Sin Fronteras Filmes produziu o documentário "6 Dias em Chubut", com direção de Chrys Rochat, sobre o período de reprodução das baleias francas-austrais na Baía Valdez, Patagônia com o renomado cinegrafista submarino vencedor de um EMMY e ex-mergulhador de Jacques Cousteau, Didier Noirot, responsável pela imagens marinhas de diversos filmes da BBC e Discovery, participou dos Festivais: X Fatu em São Paulo, Festival Internacional de Televisão no Rio de Janeiro, Handle Climate em Shenzhen/China, Voices From The Water em Bangalore/India, 3rd Indian Cine em Mumbai/India, Wiper Festival em New York e o World International Film Festival em Nova York, Hong Kong, Londres, Toronto, Cingapura, Los Angeles, Melbourne.

No mesmo ano, realizou o documentário histórico "Cidade Nação – A Saga" em coprodução com a Ação e Cena Films, com roteiro, direção, edição. Lançado no Palácio das Artes para mais de 600 pessoas e distribuído na rede de ensino e bibliotecas municipais como material de referência histórica. Em 2015, Chrys participou do encontro internacional de produtores no Ventana Sur em Buenos Aires onde fez acordo de coprodução internacional com o Uruguai para o longa “Jaguá”.

Entre seus projetos atuais estão: "Entrelinhas Suspeitas" um suspense/drama com: Camila Morgado, Eunice Baía, Cassio Reis, André Ramiro, com distribuição da Europa Filmes e "Duty Free", drama que trata do direito de ir e vir, ambos em captação. Está desenvolvendo a série cômica de temática feminina: "Entre Elas". 

Chrys Rochat também dirigiu o filme "Novela Novela" em Los Angeles vencedor do prêmio de Melhor Filme de Língua Estrangeira no New York Independent Film and Video Festival e participou dos festivais brasileiros: Gramado, Recife e Ceará e o piloto "Quest – Lugares Paradisíacos, Pessoas Extraordinárias" na República Dominicana em lugares como: Punta Cana, Las Terrenas e Santo Domingo. Todo esse conteúdo humano e cultural acumulado, garantem hoje à Sin Fronteras Filmes um diferencial na visão de mundo e de projetos para o mundo.

A produtora também trabalha com canais como Discovery Channel, NatGeo e Canal +, na direção e produção de dublagens e legendas com mais de 2000 filmes e séries em seu currículo, o que contribui enormemente para a sua visão de mercado e impacto sobre a audiência  

A Sin Fronteras Filmes é a realizadora do Rock Horror in Rio Film Festival que reúne filmes de terror, suspense e fantástico e shows de rock numa festa de roqueiros e cinéfilos.

Sin Fronteras Filmes was created in 2012, by the dynamic filmmaker Chrys Rochat who travels the world in search of stories, experiences, and innovative ideas, that has an international appeal, and both original and independent aesthetics. Like the name says, Sin Fronteras Filmes is focused on projects that could please the public worldwide, with instigating plots and broad interests, aiming to cross borders and take the best of the Brazilian independent cinema to the international market, touching and interesting the world for cultural and ecological diversity.

In 2014, Sin Fronteras Filmes produced the documentary "6 Dias em Chubut", directed by Chrys Rochat, about the southern right whales during the reproduction season in Baía Valdez, Patagônia with the Emmy winner, wildlife cinematographer, Didier Noirot, known for various films for BBC and Discovery and former Jacques Cousteau diver, that has been premiered in film festivals: X Fatu in São Paulo, Festival Internacional de Televisão in Rio de Janeiro, Handle Climate in Shenzhen/China, Voices Voices From The Water in Bangalore/India, 3rd Indian Cine in Mumbai/India, Wiper Festival in New York, and the World International Film Festival in New York, Hong Kong, London, Toronto, Singapore, Los Angeles, Melbourne.

In the same year, she wrote, directed, and edited the historical documentary Cidade Nação – A Saga in São Paulo, produced by Ação & Cena Films, that she co-produced, as well, it was released in an event with the Mayor and is now part of educational history of the city and is being used in the schools in the region as reference material.

In 2015, she and other Brazilian producers to represent the Brazilian cinema at the International Producers Conference at the Ventana Sur Film Market in Buenos Aires where she closed a coproduction deal with Uruguay for the feature Jaguá.

Her current projects include the long feature films “Entrelinhas Suspeitas”, with distribution of Europa Filmes, and “Duty Free”, both with instigating stories, evident international appeal, and approved in the Audiovisual Law and the Serie: "Entre Elas". 

Chrys Rochat also directed the film "Novela Novela" in Los Angeles winner of the Best Foreign Language Film at the New York Independent Film and Video Festival and participated of brazilian festivals such as: Gramado, Recife and Ceará.

She shot the pilot of “Quest – Paradisiac Places, Extraordinary People” in Dominican Republic in places like: Punta Cana, Las Terrenas and Santo Domingo. All this accumulated human and cultural content, ensures to Sin Fronteras Filmes today a differential in the view of the world and in the projects for the world.

The company also works with Discovery Channel, NatGeo e Canal +, directing and producing dubbing and subtitles with more than 2000 films and series in it's belt, which contributes enormously to its market vision and audience impact.
